Our Vision



The goal of Black Hills Lighting is to provide you with the lighting and electrical services that you need in a timely and cost effective manner. 

I strive to work in a way which is pleasing to the customer and to God. If you find yourself with less light than you need or the lack of a receptacle where you need one, then you need to call me for a prompt service call. 

As a licensed electrical contractor, I can address any electrical concerns in compliance with the National Electrical Code and the applicable city ordinances.

Our Solution

The solution to lighting and electrical problems is not the same for everyone.  Whether you have an outdated system that needs upgraded or something that just needs a little help, I can help with either of those situations. 

If you are interested, there are many options available for your evaluation, including a conversion to LED lighting.  In some cases, there are substantial rebates available from the power company. I would be happy to discuss these options, as well as others, with you.

Our Services

The services I am offering are lighting and electrical in nature.  As a licensed electrician, I  follow the current electrical codes.  You might be able to get an unlicensed person to do your work, but that may not be the best solution.  If something were to go wrong, any insurance involved might not cover the damage. 

Sometimes your friend does a great job, but there could be a risk.  All electrical contractors in South Dakota are required to carry insurance, which we all hope would never be needed.
